Moving out can be a tropical breeze with Islander Home Services!

Islander Home Services provides a variety of services to help you as you prepare to move from your current home .   Our years of experience can help you pack, arrange for movers, coordinate donations, coordinate and oversee repairs, and get a thorough departure cleaning.

Since most families move an average of 6 times in their lifetime, it is not a process typically perfected… that is where we come in!   We have the experience to help make sure the subtleties that remove the stress from a move are handled.  

A few examples are making sure your child’s favorite toys or “necessary” items, such as the coffee pot, are the last items packed so they will be the first items you have available to you in your new home; or knowing the right packing technique to ensure the fine china is still fine when it is unpacked.

As each of our Customers have unique needs and requests, services can be provided as a package or a la carte.  Contact us today to discuss your needs and the ways we can help.

Packing & Moving – We ask you some questions, then handle the rest!

  • Planning packing order and obtaining all packing supplies
  • Packing personal belongings and taking steps to protect furniture and fragile items
  • Arranging for movers and coordinating the loading of all boxes and furniture

Donations – For all those things you no longer need/want.

  • Coordinate and oversee charity pickups
  • Coordinate delivery of donated items to charity of your choice

Repairs – Don’t worry about it, we’ll make sure it gets done right!

  • Locate service companies for repairs and renovations
  • Meet with service people and oversee their work

Departure Cleaning – Leave your house ready to be a home.

  • Home is cleaned  (Your choice on a scale of “Just get my deposit back!” to “spic-n-span”)
  • Coordinate disposal of all remaining items
  • All-natural cleaning supplies (optional)
